College Closure / Snow Information

In case of severe weather, especially snow, which may affect the College, an assessment is made about whether it is safe and practical to open to staff and students.

This decision will be made early in the morning, in enough time to inform staff and parents by text if we are to close. A notification will also be uploaded to our website.

If you do not hear anything from us, the College will be open.

Please be assured that we only decide to close our College in exceptional circumstances, where the safety of students is the primary concern.

On occasion this may be due to the availability of teaching staff who travel some distance to reach us, rather than purely conditions for students getting to school.

Please ensure we are keep up to date with changes to your contact details, such as your mobile or landline phone number. If we do not have your correct details you will not receive the information we send out about a closure. It is your responsibility to ensure that we have an up to date emergency contact number on our system.
